General Manager of Sun Plastech Inc.

Job Purpose Summary
Lead and develop the overall vision and strategy for sales and operations for Sun Plastech Inc in the Americas.  


Key Duties Responsibilities

Responsible for P&L for all SPI
Management of all SPI personnel through Controller and director of sales.
Manage overall budget
Member of SPI Board of Directors
Lead growth and profitability of the organization

Manage minimum profitability of customers and products
Review new customer contracts to make sure they meet SPI strategic direction
Develop Organization Strategy to support midterm plan
Develop Marketing Strategy to support midterm plan
Develop supply chain strategy
Check economic and likelihood of success of new products/applications
Coordinate Commercial Resources
Integrate communication between functions to meet customers' requirements
Risk Management
Manage sales of US$20M
Manage organization of around 20 to 25 people both in New Jersey and remotely
Promotes a safe work environment for self and others
Takes the initiative to resolve issues before they become problems
Seeks continuous improvement through periodic assessments
Ensure that all activities are completed in compliance with lean, ethical and regulatory requirements

Job Specifications

Preferred Education and Experience            

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business with MBA

15-20 years strong technical & sales background in engineering plastics materials, product design, injection molding and extrusions.

 

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or business

10-15 years strong technical & sales background in engineering plastics materials, product design, injection molding and extrusions.
