Rise to Lead (R2L)

Engineering Rotational Program (Full Time)

The Rise to Lead Graduate Program is designed to provide engaging diverse work experiences, mentoring, networking, training and development, and exposure to all levels of the Asahi Kasei organization. The three year graduate program offers various rotations with entry level responsibility in addition to challenging and interesting project lead opportunities to give graduates the experiences and core foundation they need to be successful for the life of their career.

Upon successful completion of R2L, graduate employees will have the enhanced opportunity to match their career interests with the business needs of Asahi Kasei.

  • Production: meeting production targets, troubleshooting unplanned events, improving yield
  • Quality: resolving internal and external quality complaints, leading root cause analysis, implementing countermeasures
  • Purchasing: working on alternative raw material sources, sourcing for logistic advantage, monitoring raw material cost variances
  • New Business Development: exploring new market opportunities, developing plans to meet business strategy and goals
  • Process Engineering: developing solutions to processing problems, equipment and reliability issues
  • Project Engineering: working on capital project execution for equipment upgrades or capacity increases
  • Product & Applications Development: interfacing with customers to understand their product and process needs and developing product solutions to fit those needs

 

Getting Started:

  • Engineering students graduating with a bachelors degree in May 2019
  • Engineers from any of the following disciplines are encouraged to apply for these positions: Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Polymer
