Job Summary

This position's primary function is to assist all visitors, customers and vendors either on-site or on the phone in directing them to the appropriate person in a timely and courteous manner. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resource department.

 Job Tasks

Receptionist Tasks

  • Responsible for greeting, assisting, and directing all visitors, customers, and vendors
  • Operate telephone switchboard to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages, or
  • Post and distributes mail to all employees in a timely manner
  • Orders and maintains all company office supplies
  • Assist in site security by coordinating issuance of employee and vendor badges
  • Provides Safety equipment to visitors and works with Safety to ensure orientations take place for all visitors.
  • Maintain electronic and paper files
  • Orders company lunches for meetings and customer visits; manages vendor accounts related to company lunches
  • Maintain numerous data files to support company functions.
  • Administrative processing of Employee Scholarship Program at specific intervals throughout the year

 HR Assistant Tasks

  • Calls candidates to schedule interview for current job openings
  • Prepares information and collects data for meetings such as interview feedback meetings and company trainings.
  • Coordinates the Employee service awards program.
  • Facilitates pre-employment screening including physicals, drug screens, and background checks
  • Aids with employee onboarding including the creation of employee files for all new hires and contingent staff
  • Assists in documentation employee performance upon termination
  • Posts organizational announcements site-wide on a weekly basis
  • Facilitates ordering employee uniforms and sizing for new hires
  • Other administrative duties as requested from the HR department
  • Assist employee committee's and events throughout the year.

  • 1-2 years related experience


  • Associates Degree
  • 2-5 years related experience

 Working Conditions

  • Must be available to work 7:45 am to 5 pm including a working lunch
  • Sit / working at a computer or desk for extended periods of time
