JOB TITLE: Purchasing Coordinator                                                                          




Person in the role reports to Director of Finance and is responsible for the timely ordering and delivery of raw materials and services for day-to-day operations.




  1. Track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  2. Management of suppliers to ensure on-time delivery         
  3. Assist in drafting of contracts and negotiation
  4. Issuing of purchase orders and contracts
  5. Primary point of contact for purchasing and supply chain
  6. Researching of new suppliers and contractors, initiation of new business relationships
  7. Performs minor accounting duties
  8. Management of quotations
  9. Maintain approved supplier list




  • Minimum of Associates Degree in Business required, BA in Business preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Purchasing role
  • Industrial work experience
  • Microsoft Office (excel, word, email)
  • Experience with ERP system
  • Excellent written and oral communication
