Job Description:

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Accountant for AKM Semiconductor. Looking for a punctual, hardworking, and detailed orientated Senior Accountant who prefers to work in a small office environment. Under general direction, the Senior Accountant is responsible for managing, monitoring and evaluation the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable/payroll. This position addresses tight deadlines and multiple of accounting activities including month-end close, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting and external/internal audit preparation.


Job Responsibilities:

Internal controls and procedures, general accounting, tax accounting, treasury, other administrative duties.



-Ensure compliance with key accounting internal controls over financial reporting

-Work collaboratively with all departments, management level within the company, and external stakeholders

-Prepare and/or supervises the preparations of complex accounting, auditing and financial reports, statements, and other documents

-Analyze complex financial data: [reports, statements and projections]: build financial models in Microsoft Excel and present results to management.


Job Requirements:

-MA or BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management with an emphasis in Accounting required; CPS (Certificate Public Accountant) preferred

-Five (5) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting with 2 or more years in a managerial role, preferable in the semiconductor or electronics industry.


Job Competencies:

-Federal and state financial regulation. Transfer price regulations

-Finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

-Balance sheet and income statement methods, internal and credit controls, and other areas related to financial reporting requirements

-Proven ability to systematically enhance process and drive improvements

-Skilled in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail

-Adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
