Description:

Product Management Coordinator

Duties:

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist Product Manager in coordination, organization and follow through of department initiatives and objectives
  • Ensure proper SAP BOM/Recipe/Quality Plan setups for intermediates (HALBs), and Finished Products (FERTs)
  • SAP maintenance of PP and EP products, including activating and blocking grades, Participate in the Product Realization Process
  • Create and maintain Certification Profiles based on customer/OEM requirements. Investigate and resolve Certificate of Analysis error issues
  • Maintain current Compounding Instruction Sheets for tolling facilities
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Technology and Quality to optimize and resolve issues with process configurations or Quality Plans
  • Maintain commercial product SAP Quality Plans for consistency between Like Grades and Alternate Packaging Codes
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste and errors. Participate in the "order to invoice" enterprise project.
  • Actively work with production planning Leader to work towards Master Data Governance initiatives.
  • Participate in Special Projects as determined by Management. Eg: Logistics, Value Stream mapping
  • Become the Center of Expertise for Material Master Data within SAP.
  • Become a member of the Product realization team, S&OP team

Qualifications:

Education: Associates Degree in Business or relevant field minimum; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

 

Preferred: Industry experience in Compounding, Automotive, or Industrial Plastics Fields; background in Plastics Processing, Test Methods and Formula/Property relationships

   

Computer Skills:

Proficiency with MS Office software, with Advanced Knowledge of Excel Significant experience with SAP ERP system and SharePoint Computer programming knowledge desired
